| Requirements |
| High school graduate, preferably possessing a two-year or four-year degree. Two years related work experience with direct exposure to landscaping, irrigation, and drainage construction.. This job will require the handling of many duties at once; the ability to solve problems and maintain good customer relationships, ability to communicate and relate to people at all levels, and the ability to oversee, instruct, and inspect the work of a crew consisting of three to five people. Must be able to read, speak, and write in English, possess a current NC driver's license with a clean driving record. |
| Description |
| Provide direction, supervision, and support for the
landscaping crew members. Directly responsible for ensuring
landscaping projects (including plant, irrigation, and drainage
installation) are completed to the highest
standard while maintaining a safe working environment for the crew members
and customers/personnel in the immediate area. Knowledge of plant and
construction materials as well as operation of equipment (Bobcat, Dingo,
trencher, etc.). Keep accurate
records (daily time sheets, installation records, equipment usage
logs) on a daily/weekly basis. Promptly and courteously respond/answer all
questions by customers while onsite. Monitor crew members to ensure their
safety equipment, uniforms, and general health/well-being is good .
Review each crew members performance with supervisor/manager/owner every six
months to assist with performance evaluations. Monitors vehicles and
equipment for necessary preventative maintenance and repairs and reports
such discrepancies as needed (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). |
| Salary and Benefits |
| This is a full-time, year-round position, working weekdays from 7:30AM until 4:30PM, with occasional Saturdays, dependant upon weather and work schedule commitments. Salary is dependant upon skill level and previous work experience. |
